Visa Tools Ltd is part of the Gibson Group of Companies. The Gibson Group companies all manufacture specialist hand tools for Forestry, Fencing, Landscaping, Engineering, Stone masoning, Stone Carving, and monumental masoning industries. Names such as G.Gibson & Co Ltd, Manufacturers of Stone Masons tools including Carbide Tipped Chisels (J.G.Faulds Type or F-type), Framing and Rafter Squares for the building industries, including the sought after "Smallwoods Square - 390 &390B" Roofing Square. Smith Edge Tools was acquired but then merged into Visa Tools, so the manufacture of specialist type Hammer Heads e.g. Track Keying Hammer Heads (British Standard), Shipwrights Mauls, and many difficult to find Hammer head types was acquired. As previously mentioned, I&D Smallwoods steel products (and some wood) were integrated to G.Gibson & Co Ltd's line up, so Platers Squares, Rules; Straight Edges etc are another string to the Gibson Groups Bow. Visa Tools Ltd was established back in 1980, in Clevedon, Bristol. This is where Visa Tools traded up until it was acquired by the Gibson Group in 2002. Since Its acquisition and Immediate Relocation to the Groups HQ in Garforth Leeds, It has grown by at least 70% each year. Visa amazingly occupies only the same amount of space as it did in Clevedon, but with its shared resources and the experience of skilled staff, now puts out over twice as much production as it did in the year prior to Its acquisition. Quality has always been the Number One priority with Visa, and nothing has changed. Every step we take to improve our products is selectively tested by a few close customers, before any sweeping changes are implemented. This allows us to improve the products you receive constantly, and without disruption. 

We Manufacture every Fibreglass handled tool we sell right here in Leeds, we don’t, and wont buy Inferior product from the Far East to supply our customers.
