I placed an online order for the Double Edge Newton Billhook late on a Sunday evening, and was very impressed when it arrived on Tuesday afternoon.
The Billhook is a design with centuries of tradition and practice behind it, and is, unfortunately, very difficult to come by in an increasingly mechanised world.
I was delighted to find a company that manufactured them, and equally delighted with the quality of that manufacture. I unwrapped it, held it by the Hickory handle, and at once it felt familiar and right. In short, a beautifully made tool.
